The 2016 Subaru Forester comes in six impressive trim levels. Even the entry-level 2.5i has incredible features like 17" wheels, multireflector halogen headlights, 60/40-split flat-folding rear seatbacks, and more. The 2.5i Premium upgrades to 17" aluminum-alloy wheels, raised roof rails, a panoramic moonroof, reclining rear seats, and more, while the 2.5i Limited has fog lights, a rear spoiler, a single chrome exhaust outlet, and leather-trimmed upholstery. The luxurious 2.5i Touring trim adds features like 18" aluminum-alloy wheels, HID headlights, one-touch folding rear seatbacks, and more. The 2.0XT Premium and the 2.0XT Touring have many of the same features as the 2.5i Premium and 2.5i Touring, but they add sporty features like a sport-design front fascia, a turbocharged engine, and dual chrome exhaust outlets.

The available EyeSight driver assist technology system combines adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, along with lane departure and sway warning functions for amazing safety. The Forester also comes with a variety of high-quality technological features, including StarLink and an optional 8-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with navigation.
Every Subaru Forester is equipped with symmetrical all-wheel drive, giving you unprecedented control both on the road and off--and features like X-MODE traction assist system with Hill Descent Control (standard on all but the 2.5i and 2.5i Premium) increase this off-road prowess even further. The 2.5i trims are powered by a 2.5-liter DOHC aluminum-alloy 16-valve horizontally opposed 4-cylinder Subaru Boxer engine with Active Valve Control System; this engine generates 170 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque while still getting up to 32 highway MPG (thanks in part to the Lineartronic CVT). Want more power? You'll love the 2.0XT trims, which have a 2.0-liter DOHC direct-injected, intercooled, turbocharged aluminum-alloy 16-valve 4-cylinder horizontally opposed Subaru Boxer engine that puts out 250 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque!
